Pain

 Have you ever felt the pain of your soul? The pain that comes from the deepest part of your body. It spreads through your bones, your skin, your organs, your blood stream. There is no pain like it. It makes you squirm. It starts it the centre of your chest, your heart, and courses through your bloodstream to every part of your body. Your eyes full with tears. You swear angrily at anyone who will listen. 

I read that it is not the pain of loss but the pain knowing you have to live without them. You never expect to outlive your child. I miss Evelyn everyday. Her smell, her tiny hands, her beautiful dark eyes, her smile, her long limbs, her feisty attitude, our cuddles.
